A dedicated, welcoming space for 2-year-olds

At Tenterfield, we have a special group just for two-year-olds, offering both funded and fee-paying places. Our “Pink Group” is part of our Outstanding Nursery, giving your child a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment to learn and grow.

What to expect in the Pink Group:

  • Children are greeted by their keyperson and enjoy a short welcome session each morning.

  • They follow the Pebble curriculum in their own dedicated space.

  • They have access to their own garden area.

  • Routines are quickly learned, and strong attachments are formed through our keyperson approach.

Session times and flexibility:

  • Fee paying & 15hr Funded places: Open Monday to Friday, 8:35am – 11:35am.

  • Flexible options are available: 2, 3, 4, or 5 sessions per week.

  • Fee paying places: £24 per session (8:35am – 11:35am).

  • Places are limited – call us at 01438 714564 for details.

Children move into our 3-4-year-old groups the term after their 3rd birthday, with no need to reapply. Starting in the Pink Group gives your child a strong start to their Tenterfield learning journey.

30-Hour Places (from September 2025)

We are also offering a limited number of 30-hour funded places for 2-year-olds:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:35am – 2:35pm.

Childcare Support for Families

Families receiving additional government support, including Universal Credit or other income-related benefits are entitled to 570 hours of childcare support per year (equivalent to 15 hours per week across 38 weeks of term time).
